My Professor (Kent Burnham) would say those words as we left class. They stayed with me. To me, they are both an invitation and a responsibility. As theatre makers, we tell stories that help people feel seen, understand one another, and imagine a different world. As people, we carry that work beyond the stage. We can leave someone with more hope than they had before, make room for a voice that has gone unheard, or simply show up when it matters. That is what I hear in those four words: go into
